Michelle Council

Position: Managing Director

Michelle is an operations expert and business development executive with experience in both manufacturing and services. Her leadership experience encompasses enterprise P&L management, business development, and strategic planning. Michelle’s ability to lead and improve performance across diverse product lines for both entrepreneurial and publicly held entities are what make her a valuable business executive.

Michelle most recently served as the VP of Strategic Planning and then the President of the Oil, Gas and Chemicals SBU for APTIM, a privately held $1.2B industrial services company. Her 32 year career began with a 16 year tenure at Chevron where she held a variety of leadership positions in functional organizations including Operations, Maintenance, Global Supply Planning and Business Management. After Chevron, she was the Director of Business Development for two privately held life science companies and then served as a Vice President for AECOM, a leading global engineering consulting firm, where she was responsible for all operations and financial performance for a 5 state region.

She is a results oriented leader that enjoys the process of collaboration, the opportunity to learn from others, and the privilege of developing employees.

Michelle is a graduate of the MBA program at the Rice University, Jones School of Management. She has B.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biology from the University of Alabama.
